We will be closed all day on Friday 28th August and Monday 31st August

Please note the store will be closed all day on Friday 28th August, as we will be attending the wedding of our close friends - congratulations to Simon and Louise!

We will also be closed on the Monday bank holiday, 31st August, all day.

If you have a workshop item to collect on these dates we will ensure the work is completed beforehand and will call you to let you know when it is done.

14/08/2009        PANDORA NEW BEADS RELEASED

Pandora have released their new wooden beads range in the UK - we have all 5 in store now

PANDORA have released thier new wooden version of the murano glass beads in the UK and we have all 5 colours in stock at Sonkai.

They are still to update the UK website but if you go to the Australia option at www.pandora-jewelry.com, you can see the full range there.

The beads are all with a silver centre and retail at £27 each.

28/05/2009        Pandora booklets for 2009 available

We have now received the new updated Pandora bead booklets for '09 showing the full range and prices

Pandora have now delivered to us the new bead booklets showing the Spring '09 beads and all the prices. We have plenty of these in store so please feel free to collect one when you are next visiting.

We have also received information booklets on the Pandora rings and lariats.

16/04/2009        Sunday Opening - New team member

From May 2009 we will be open on Sundays so you can visit us 7 days a week

Sonkai is beginning to grow!

Craig and Sara have now welcomed Jane to our happy little team.

This means that we are, at last, able to open 7 days a week, although there will be no goldsmith services available on a Sunday.

Our Sunday opening is due to start on 03rd May 2009. The opening times will be updated accordingly once we start but we should be open from 11am until 3.30pm each Sunday.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

The new Spring beads for 2009 have arrived!

PANDORA have now released the new designs for this Spring 2009 and you can find the selection available in Sonkai now. There are new silver beads including animals, stone set bags, gemstone dangles, funky enamel beads, 14ct and silver mixed designs,solid 14ck designs and some stunning Murano glass.

25/02/2009        Temporary Closing Dates

Sonkai closed all day on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd March for Stock Take

At the end of February this year Sonkai will have reached the grand old age of 3 years!

Becasue of having to carry out our end of year stock take, we will be closed for two days on Monday and Tuesday the 2nd and 3rd of March.

Whilst the shop won't be open, we shall be around for most of the day if you have any urgent workshop jobs to collect. Please feel free to call us on 01603 621771 to organise a time for collection if it has to be on one of these days.

21/01/2009        PANDORA DELIVERY

Delivery of Pandora received Wed 21st Jan, includes a great selection of Murano glass

Our 2nd delivery of the New Year is in and includes a great selection of the Murano glass colours, including some of the 14ct glass beads.

We are also now carrying the black leather and silver capped lariet in stock. These are 100cm long leather necklaces with a retail cost of just £20 for the silver capped version. A superb and modern way of displaying your beads and a great gift idea. You can see an image of the lariet on the model photograph that is near the back of your beads booklet.

Most of the beads and all the bracelet lengths are now back in stock

Pandora Updates - Next delivery and pricing changes

Following their Christmas and New year break, Pandora will re-open on 6th January 2009 to start processing our orders. As usual, Sonkai has the full catalogue of beads on order and we look forward to receiving the new stock as soon as possible.

06.01.09 - PANDORA HAVE CONFIRMED TODAY THAT DELIVERY WILL BE WITHIN 2 WEEKS. WE WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE WHEN OUR NEW STOCK ARRIVES.

From 1st January 2009 the prices of the beads are changing. Overall, the prices are lower on average, although you will see on an individual basis some beads have increased in price, while other have decreased, some even dropping by as much as £35! 

Please feel free to send me an email with your name and the codes of any particular items you are after and I can then let you know when they are in and put them aside until your next visit to the store.
